Gutter Estimating & Invoicing Software for Gutter Contractors
A gutter job is footage plus a lot of small parts. Trades HQ helps you count every corner, cap and elbow, price it with your own rates, and get paid fast.
Small parts add up. Corners, end caps, outlets, elbows and hangers are easy to undercount.
Downspouts. Their number and length depend on the roof and the house height.
Seamless or sectional. Coil and sections price and install differently.
Removal and repairs. Old gutters, rotten fascia and guards change the job.

Pricing tip: Set a minimum job price, so small repair calls still cover your drive and setup time. And remember that markup and margin aren't the same number: a 20% margin needs a 25% markup. The Estimating Basics guide walks through the math, and the free markup and margin calculator does it for you.

Questions gutter contractors ask
How many downspouts does a gutter need?
It depends on the roof area draining to the gutter and your local rainfall. Many installers place one downspout for every 30 to 40 feet of gutter, and at least one per run.
How far apart should gutter hangers be?
Many installers space hangers about every 2 feet, closer in areas with heavy snow. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the system you use.
Can I use Trades HQ on my phone?
Yes. Trades HQ runs in your phone’s web browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app, so you can build an estimate or send an invoice from the truck.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you don’t need a credit card to start. Plans start at $75 a month, and you can cancel anytime.
